JEAN-MAX CLEMENT/SIX SUITS FOR UNACCOMPANIED CELLO/L'OISEAU-LYRE 2xLPs/TOP AUDIO
Jean-Max Clément – Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello (Records 1&2) J. S.BachThe Grammophone Magazine says of Jean-Max Clément: "He has an excellent sense of phrasing, and conveys all that one needs of the dance-like character in each movement. The solemn preludes, especially those of the C major and D minor Suites, come off beautifully, and there is plenty of contrast in timbre. Clément can develop a good, sonorous tone on his C and G strings ... He certainly enjoys a far better recording acoustic than Cassadó. Jean-Max Clément is playing the arpeggio figures with clarity of technique, excellent tone, and harmonic intent."

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. Payment strictly by PayPal only. Postal discounts available for multiple purchases - Please email for details. 526 (GS 6.6.6 (526))
