Condition : lamintated cover in the front is in great shape with the exception of a minimal ring on the back, NEAR MINT / vinyl has a few minor scuffs not affecting listening but a couple of slight clicks in the last track of the second side, NEAR MINT

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : il suono del pianoforte regna quasi incontrastato in tutte le quattro tracce. "Bossa-Nova" ha una piacevolissima musica basata su il celebre ritmo Brasiliano sotto la guida del piano ben accompagnato dall'orchestra. "Fox" contiene ovattate sonorità da fumoso locale notturno con tromba e sassofono che seguono il pianoforte.  "Medium" ha del buon jazz interpretato da un lungo e virtuoso assolo del pianoforte con basso in sottofondo fino all'ingresso della tromba dando così vita a un bel duetto strumentale. "Slow" è un raffinato blues guidato dalla tromba dopo un'introduzione pianistica.

Notes : piano reigns almost undisputed in all four tracks. "Bossa-Nova" has a very pleasant music based on the well-known Brazilian rhythm with piano effectively accompanied by the orchestra. "Fox" is characterized by muffled sonorities from smoky nightclub with trumpet and sax which follow piano. "Medium" contains some good jazz played by a long and masterful piano solo with bass in the background until the entrance of trumpet thus giving rise to a beautiful instrumental duet. "Slow" is a refined blues led by the trumpet after a pianistic introduction.
