Description
JEFF ST JOHN’S COPPERWINE JOINT EFFORT 12” LP
Jeff St John’s Copperwine released the Joint Effort LP in 1970, not long after they formed in late 1969.
Manufactured by SPIN records, catalogue no. SEL-933742.
This is a 12” stereo LP and has 12 tracks, including Cloud Nine, Reach Out and Can’t Find My Way Home.
The band at that time comprised Jeff St John (lead vocals), Ross East (electric and acoustic guitar, vocals), Peter Figures (drums, percussion, guitar, vocals), Alan Ingram (bass, vocals) and Barry Kelly (organ, piano, clarinet, vocals).
The “friends” featured on the album were, like Jeff himself, very influential in the Australian Rock scene of the late 60s and early 70s. They include Billy Thorpe (harmonica), Doug Ashdown (12 string and dobro guitar), Phil Wooding (guitar) and John Sangster (vibes and glockenspiel).
The cover is in good condition with no rips or tears but does have some creasing around the edges, surface scuffing and impression marks.
The vinyl is also in good condition and plays well, despite some scratches, surface noise and a few small pops.
