THIS ONE'S A DOOZY FOLKS! We found one last copy of this variant of JEFF The Brotherhood "Live at Halloween" for the benefit of this, our 10th year of the Infinity Cat Recordings Rarities Sale! All auctions starting at just 99 cents!

Where do we start? This one rings all the bells!

• First off, it's an amazing recording of a legendary show at the sold Nashville Municipal Auditorium with Diarrhea Planet. ?
• Second, Shed House's Master of all things Tommy really got into the different ways he could package this double album. This one has a spray painted silver bomb with hand painted red highlights on the JTB logo, and plenty of bright red "blood" drops on the back.
• Hand-painted cover 1/15 copies

This test pressing has never been played, so the records are mint. The sleeve has some dings so we took a close-up pic so you can see exactly how it looks.

It still comes as a shock that Jeff the Brotherhood is a mere duo. Jake and Jamin, two Tennessee titans of the rock, sound like a damn army in their live shows, supplying fuzzy wuzzy sludge psych gold by way of guitar, drums and a hefty amount of Old Milwaukee and Sour Diesel.
If you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing these two juggernauts live, you’re in luck.  Shed House Records made the pilgrimage to their native land of Nashville for the now-notorious Halloween gig of 2015.  Rumor has it that 4 babies were conceived during Shredder alone and a lone hesher simply dissipated into nothingness during Heavy Krishna.  If you want a true live experience on vinyl, pick this one up.  ?

We weren't surprised to see JEFF the Brotherhood's Jake and Jamin Orrall take the stage dressed as wizards — that's the kind of thing the J-Bros might have done even if it weren't Halloween. But after a few years now of getting used to the band's four-piece power-JEFF lineup, we were surprised to see them play as a duo once again. That immediately took us back to JEFF's heavy days of yore. Either because recent JEFF gems from Wasted on the Dream and Hypnotic Nights haven't yet been reworked for this setup, or maybe because the Orralls might have been feeling a little nostalgic as well, the band kicked things off with a suite of old stoner-scuzz cuts that — in keeping with the big-venue co-headliner vibe — hit us and other locals like a greatest-hits victory lap. The run started with an opening "Whatever I Want" — haunting the hall with a fitting Black Sabbath homage — and careened through thoroughly diggable classics like "Diamond Way" and "Hey Friend." Some new faves, like the most excellent Wasted anthem "Black Cherry Pie," made the the maybe-hour-or-so set. While Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson didn't appear to reprise his guest flutist role on "Black Cherry Pie," the Orralls did enlist D. Watusi and Savoy Motel shredder Dillon Watson — who, we should note, was both dressed and introduced as Shrek — to play electric sitar on the tripped-out, rarely played We Are the Champions nugget "Health and Strength," the deepest cut of the set. Showing off their proclivity for the "Within You Without You"-inspired spiritual side of rock music, Jake and Watson sat crossed-legged for the heady jam. Reliably, the JEFF set ruled. Really hard. As in, like, they-closed-with-"Bone Jam" hard.
