All records are professionally cleaned, play tested in their entirety and then graded strictly to the Record Collector Guidelines. Anything that is noted during the playtest with be honestly described as best I can below. Also all photos shown above are of the exact record you will receive.
These records are in very good+ condition. There are spindle marks on each label and a pen mark on side 2(pics). There are no scuffs or severe levels of fading anywhere however, but the centres do show some wear. They are not overly loose though, and overall the labels are clean, bright and in decent shape.
As for the vinyl itself, record 1 seems to have considerably more wear/signs of use than record 2.
Record 1 would grade as VG visually with light hairlines, signs of wear and general marks and lines to both sides. It has nothing really nasty however and still has a nice shine.
Record 2 is much cleaner and would grade at EX visually. There are a few light lines and minor hairlines in places but nothing severe and overall both are nice and clean with no major issues.
I play tested both the records and they both played well overall with nice audio throughout and only a couple of minor issues to report.
They both lay flat on the deck with minimal arm movement noticeable upon playing. As far as the audio I noted some light surface noise in the vocal intro to side 1 and also 3 light ticks here. There is then very little to report on either side other than the occasional light splutter or mild amount of surface noise in parts. Side 1 would have the most of any 'interference', while Sides 2, 3 and 4 all play very well with little to report and nothing major. None of the sides have sticks, jumps or annoying clicks and overall I enjoyed listening to the whole album from start to finish.
I have graded at VG+ as this is a combination of the VG/EX visual grading of the records and also the near EX audio.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has some minor wear and rubbing to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is still all legible. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and overall it is strong all round. There is some faint ring marks showing however and also a few minor creases in places. There is also a little age related grubbiness to the white areas on the outside. This is not severe but there is a little. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible.
It contains both its original plain white poly-lined inners which are in a similar very good+ condition. Neither has splits, tears or pen marks but both have some creasing and some age related discolouring or grubbiness.
It also includes its original picture booklet/insert which is in excellent condition with no tears, pen marks or major issues but some light discolouring to the outside and some mild creasing to the front top right corner area.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
