JEFFERSON AIRPLANE Bark LP 1971 GRUNT 1st Press 100% COMPLETE

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Jefferson Airplane called "Bark" and is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Grunt label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF JEFFERSON AIRPLANE'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1971 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE, AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT TO DEFINE A UK 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP - TO SHOW EXACTLY HOW THIS LP WAS SOLD IN THE UK ON THE DAY OF RELEASE BACK IN 1971!!!!  THE U.S. 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WAS RELEASED WITH A 'GROCERY BAG', INSERT, BROWN INNER, COVER, AND RECORD.  HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO FACILITY (OR MORE LIKELY IT PROVED TOO EXPENSIVE!) TO MAKE ALL THESE ITEMS IN THE UK.  OF COURSE, IF THIS LP HAD BEEN AN EXPECTED HUGE SELLER IN THE UK - THEN IT IS LIKELY IT PROBABLY WOULD HAVE HAPPENED.  BUT JEFFERSON AIRPLANE'S PREVIOUS LPs HAD NOT SOLD IN LARGE AMOUNTS - AND SO IT SIMPLY WASNT COST EFFECTIVE TO MAKE EVERYTHING HERE IN THE THE UK!!!!  THAT SAID, IT IS DIFFERENT TO THE U.S. 1ST PRESSING - AND ALL UK 1ST PRESSINGS CAME LIKE THIS ON THE VERY 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1971!!!!  IN SHORT - ALL UK 1ST PRESSINGS CAME WITH:- THE 'GROCERY BAG' OUTER (WHICH WAS MADE AND IMPORTED FROM THE U.S.A.),  THE BROWN INNER SLEEVE (WHICH HAS NO CREDIT - BUT WAS PROBABLY MADE IN THE UK), AND A RECORD - WHICH AGAIN HAS NO COUNTRY CREDIT, BUT THE LABELS ARE VERY SHINY INDEED, AND ALMOST IDENTICAL TO UK RCA 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS PERIOD IN 1971.  HOWEVER, THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE UK 1ST PRESSING, AND THE U.S. 1ST PRESSING - IS THAT THE U.S. 'SINGLE' COVER & 'INSERT' WERE COMBINED INTO 1 SINGLE 'GATEFOLD' LAMINATED COVER - WITH THE BACK & FRONT OF THE U.S. DESIGN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD, AND HALF OF THE U.S. INSERT PUT INSIDE THE GATEFOLD COVER.  AND AS IS 100% CORRECT, THE GATEFOLD LAMINATED COVER HAS A GERMAN CREDIT (NO UK COVERS EXIST) ON THE REVERSE (THOUGH OBVIOUSLY THE WHOLE COVER IS IN ENGLISH!) AS THIS WAS EXACTLY HOW THIS LP WAS RELEASED IN THE UK AS A 1ST PRESSING BACK IN 1971!!!!  AND OF COURSE, IT IS FAR FAR RARER THAN THE U.S. 1ST PRESSING, EXACTLY AS RELEASED IN THE UK BACK IN 1971 - AND IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION, HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL - AND ALL THE 'EXTRAS' ARE SIMPLY SUPERB!!!!  EVEN THE OUTER BAG HAS NO SPLITS AT ALL - AND THE BROWN INNER SLEEVE LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BARELY BEEN TOUCHED SINCE NEW!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS GRUNT LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'BROWN' INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD LAMINATED COVER, AND 1ST PRESS 'JA' OUTER BAG (ALSO KNOWN AS THE 'GROCERY BAG')!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Grunt UK 1st Pressing from 1971 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is FTR 1001 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Grunt label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - though I am VERY certain that most would grade higher here!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Brown inner sleeve which is in absolutely AWESOME condition - and is completely UNSPLIT!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Gatefold Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, NO splits, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 'JA Outer Bag' (also known as the 'Grocery Bag') is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition - with NO rips, NO tears, NO splits, only 3 or 4 absolutely TINY indentation marks at the VERY bottom (this are almost IMPOSSIBLE to see!), NO annotations, NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, only 1 TINY stain trace in 1 bottom corner (again this is absolutely TINY and almost IMPOSSIBLE to notice!), and NO writing!!!!  The Outer Bag MUST grade Very Good++++ if not better - and is very VERY close to a grade above!!!!  BRILLIANT EXAMPLE!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
