A cracking live set showing just how much power this band had!..
Casady's bass playing stands out..His approach to bass playing is unique and the sounds he makes are astonishing..Kaukonen's lead guitar is equally impressive and between them they are the engine of the band..Drape the wonderful lead vocal battles of Grace Slick and Marty Balin on top and you have a really great album..(Kantner and Spencer Dryden help out as well!)...This album still sends shivers up my spine nearly 45 years after I first heard it!.
This is the original MONO issue...It comes in a front laminated sleeve (The stereo issues had UNLAMINATED sleeves) from 1968 on the black RCA label..(RD 7976)..UK pressing..
It is a first press..The matrix numbers are:.X2PP 9478 2/X2PP 9479 2..The mothers and stampers are:A2/A5..
Play grade on this is EX minus..ONE pop right at the end of "Bear Melt" and a little light crackle at the beginning of that track...There are no other clicks,pops or crackle and the sound just bursts out of the speakers with a clean and undistorted sound..
It plays flat on the deck with no edge warps..It does not stick or jump..
Visual grade is EX minus as there are a few light paper scuffs..There are no nasty scratches,scuffs or other marks and the disc still has a real nice sheen..
The labels are undamaged and there is moderate spindle wear..
The sleeve grades as EX minus..It's a front laminated sleeve (with the laminate going around the spine..The spine is crimped top and bottom)..The front has a little laminate lift along the spine and there is light corner wear..The non laminated back has some age discolouring around the edges and light discshape...It has no seam splits,rips,tears,scribble,sellotape or tape marks...All the text on the spine is clearly legible..There is minimal edge rubbing and the colours are bright and unfaded..

There are delays on post going INTO the USA due to an increased scanning of packages at US Customs (Anti terrorist measures,I believe)..Parcels ARE being delayed and delivery may take a MONTH!!..
The Russian Federation is also having delays on deliveries ..This is due to the sheer volume of parcels going into the Federation..Again,expect delays!.

Shipping
All items are securely and professionally packed..Records are shipped out of their jackets to prevent seam splits..If there is an inner sleeve or a picture sleeve,then the disc will be packed in a plain white sleeve.. I try and keep shipping costs to an absolute minimum,byut Paypal don't help by taking commission on the postal costs!!
All items are posted the day that payment is recieved..
