Earliest Stampers

Cover: Clout & Baker 1st pressing cover with laminated front and unlaminated rear. Has the RD 7889 on the front & back. Readable spine. Has some light staining on rear and a small doodles. Rates as VG+ - see photos.  Original poly-lined inner sleeve is Excellent.

Labels: Excellent - no stickers/names or doodles. Light stylus marks only.  

Vinyl: Play tested. Thick Decca pressed vinyl.  Looks VG+ to Near Excellent. Nice sheen. In used but not abused condition. Moderate background crackle and occasional clicks/ pops. No skips/jumps on my system Rates as VG for playback with some tracks playing VG(-) and others VG+. Still an enjoyable listening experience.  Would benefit from a clean to bring up to its best as it had not been played for many years before play testing

Gradings......

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
