Description
Jefferson Airplane's 1969 repress of their fabulous vinyl album "SURREALISTIC PILLOW' on the RCA Victor Label. This very early repress has the rare 1C/1C matrix.
The vinyl itself is in VG+ condition and played well and without faults. The vinyl surface is glossy and without any dull areas. Very minor static crackle at quiet moments but well below normal levels for an album this age. It has signs of previous play with fine wispy lines seen under bright LED's; these however did did not affect the truly excellent sound quality the album had. Labels are undamaged and spindle mark free.
The outer laminated sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light storage wear and a 0.5 cm tear just at the opening, but nothing of significance for a sleeve over 40 years old.
Inner sleeve a little discoloured but undamaged.
I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.
The record is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
