Both sides of this scarce sample single from 1971 have a horn section as well as guitar backing. The (b) side is a very wild version of the Dusty Springfield song. The singer sounds an awful lot like Doug Parkinson tho I’ve never had that confirmed. The (a) side is faster and was written by Max Merritt. It’s garage/beat and here again the singer is in the Parkinson/gutbucket vocal style. Raw and powerful.
