Description

JENGHIZ KHAN ‘’Well Cut’’ (Barclay #90012 CANADA 1971)

Megarare TOP CONDITION Canadian original copy of this legendary Belgian

Heavy Psych-Prog band...While Belgian original was pressed at 5000 copies,

this Canadian original was pressed at only 500 copies (know it from the band).

One of those real rare hard rock progressive, JENGHIZ KHAN produced one sole album that is now

a highly-priced collectible item. With an amazing cover of the Great Conqueror having cut the groupgroup often considered as heavy

member's heads, this obscure quartet is also the second band of

bassist Pierre Raepsat (he had recorded with another "progressive"

group LAURELIE one year before). A Heavy Prog-Psych Masterpiece

occasionally reminding of TEN YEARS AFTER, IRON BUTTERFLY,

VANILLA FUDGE and URIAH HEEP with Raepsaet's heavily accented

Paul Rodgers-inspired vocals, kicked along by Tim Brean's keyboards

and Friswa's buzz saw guitar, material like the bluesy‘’Campus A’’

and ‘’Trip To Paradise’’ was every bit as good as material being

churned out by their UK and US competitors...

Condition:
