Jerry Jeff Walker - Five Years Gone (Atco SD 33-297), 1970.
Absolutely the most obscure and hardest-to-find of all Jerry Jeff Walker albums, especially so in a STOCK copy with the multi-fold insert. This insert has a 2.5" title fold that projected externally from the album cover opening and was the only method of identifying the artist/title of the record as there is no print whatsoever on the front or rear cover. The insert has song lyrics and writing by Walker as well as a listing of the musicians on the album with a rather unique accounting of who-plays-what listed in left-to-right order as they appear in the stereo channel mix of the LP. Musicians include David Bromberg, Charlie McCoy, Kenny Buttrey, Paul Harris, Weldon Myrick, Norbert Putnam, Henry Strzelecki, Hargus 'Pig' Robbins Mack Guyden, Bob Wilson, Wayne Moss and David Briggs. Features songs recorded in studio near Nashville, TN and includes a live performance of "Mr. Bojangles" taken from an appearance on WBAI radio in New York City.
Cover and record are VG+. Rear cover slick shows some wrinkling apparently due to a poor job of gluing/adhering the slick to the cardboard.
