I sell this reluctantly. This amazing set contains 12 LPs (153 songs) of vintage Killer: the complete studio recordings from 1973 until his 1977 departure for Elektra records, the COMPLETE (including previously unreleased tracks) London Session, the Southern Roots LP remastered and preserved with original tracking and artwork (there's a separate LP with the outtakes) PLUS a bonus interview record. Everything is remastered in glorious analog and has never sounded better. The records are in fantastic, shiny, scratch-free condition (I cleaned them with a audiophile cleaning system, too) and the jackets are pristine and super glossy! Actually, the jackets, with their huge full-color photos, are one of the highlights of this set: there's SO much more character to the packaging here than there is in the disappointing, repetitive cd jackets of the cd version (which does NOT contain the London Session, btw). The accompanying book contains great photos and Colin Escott text, plus a complete Mercury discography (1963-1977). The only downside is that the box itself is only in fair condition (there's tape repairs to splits on two of the lower lid corners and on all four of the upper lid corners), but it's only the box, right?
