VERY RARE ORIGINAL U.S. IMPORT
This is the 1973 U.S. original release of Jerry William's classic Northern Soul soul single "If You Ask Me". This track was very popular at the height of Northern Soul and is extremely rare on the original Calla record label. It was released in the U.K. in 1974 on the Pye Disco Demand label and this release in itself is rare and worth about £7 in mint condition. However, remember this auction is for the original record on the Calla label, could be an absolute bargain with a starting price of £0.30, and is certainly an essential and very collectable item for any serious 70's or Northern Soul collector.
The record on the Calla record label (see picture) is in near mint condition with just one or two very, very, small vinyl marks.
The label is in mint condition but does have sticky catalogue labels on both sides which could be removed with care. The record comes in a clear plastic sleeve.
