Jethro Tull
'A Passion Play'
Chrysalis, UK, 1973
CHR 1040
BIZARRE CONCEPT album following in the footsteps of 'Thick As A Brick' and a record that left many hard core Tull fans and casual observers scratching their heads in wonderment. Comprises of just one long track split over two sides of the record. Musically its typical Tull; full-on prog with killer instrumental sections and arrangements to die for. Anderson is in top form vocally and the guitar work of Marton Barre is to die for.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
