JETHRO TULL - "Aqualung” LP 

UK MARCH 1971 ORIGINAL STEREO VINYL ALBUM on CHRYSALIS Records ILPS 9145 

[Matrix A//1-U and B//3-U - PINK “I” LOGO ON TAN LABEL DESIGN - 1st PRESSING]. 

TEXTURED GATEFOLD SLEEVE has the “ILPS 9145” credit on the top rear and the “Ernest J. Day “ Credit on the bottom rear. 

Sleeve has no scuffs, ring-wear, tears, marks etc. Gorgeous NEAR MINT. 

The INNER LYRIC BAG is crisp too - no creasing or tearing on the lip as there so often is with this. It has the tiniest amount of ageing so a conservative EX to NEAR MINT. 

THE LP has a small amount of spindle wear but crucially no marks, scratches, scuffs etc. It’s NEAR MINT.

Collectors will know that Tull’s “Aqualung” is a common album (I have two other variants of it for sale too) - but not so on 1st PRESS in NEAR MINT (I know I played my original copy to bits). 

I was years trying to get this as crisp as possible.

The album (like all of mine) has been professionally washed and dried on the LORICRAFT AUDIO PR6 cleaning machine (pictured).

It's then placed in a new Poly-lined inner bag (with the original bag retained if there is one).?

These records don't just 'look' clean - they 'play' clean - and there's a huge difference.

All my LPs are sent in proper 12" mailers with two stiffeners (no dodgy jiffy bags).
Outer sleeve is in a HEAVY GAUGE PVC.
