JETHRO TULL - BENEFIT - UK 1ST CHRYSALIS WITH WHITE "i" ON LABEL PSYCH

Description

Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!

On offer, a very rare 1st U.K. pressing of Jethro Tull – Benefit on the GREEN Chrysalis label, cat. no. ILPS 9123, with the white “i” op top of the label.

The record is in EX condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in EX condition as well, there are a few spindle marks on the labels only.

The cover is in VG+++ condition, there is just very slight wear in the corners and some very slight ring wear is coming through on the back, but further the cover looks great; no writing, no rips or tears or other damage than mentioned.

Although not in mint condition, this is a very hard to find U.K. first pressing of Jethro Tull’s Benefit album. Every collector knows that the white “i”  on top of the Chrysalis was only printed there for a very short period in time. This is a real must have for every Jethro Tull fan, or Island / Chrysalis collector! Happy Bidding!

Please also look at my other Harvest / Pink Island / Vertigo Swirl auctions!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POSTAGE COSTS FOR THE U.K. ARE NOT 4 GBP

Shipping & Payment: I will ship to customers worldwide and accept prefer payments by a bank transfer, but I also accept payments by PayPal or contact me when you want to pay with another method. Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 15.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.

Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
