THIS ITEM SPECIFICS: JETHRO TULL [LOT 2] LP THICK AS BRICK/AQUALUNG INSERTS-GATEFOLDs 1st Press

Vinyl Grade =  

BRICK = SOLID EX+.  This is first press (Matrix = 31378-1-1)

AQUA = One side VG+, one side VG++.  I know this is an earlier press, not sure if it is "first" press.

Thought "EX" was fair overall grade especially given the cover conditions and inserts

Cover Condition =  I don't like to grade covers...but if they're not "EX" they're certainly close.  Very faint/light ring wear with light edge and corner wear and Nice Spines.  Brick has ALL "pages" of the inner gatefold in tact and in nice condition.

Inner Sleeve =   Aqua has a generic insert with the original lyric insert.  Brick has a "reprise" sleeve with a small seam split.

GRADING:

Mint (M): I do not use this grade.  I use SEALED or its NM or less.


Near Mint (NM): Nearly Mint, possibly unplayed or only played a handful of times. No or very few and very faint sleeve scuffs


EX+/NM(-):  Somewhere in between the above and below descriptions


Excellent (EX): Plays like new, with very few signs of use such as light scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets and maybe 1 or 2 light, small scratches.

VG++: Still shiny, Very few light scratches, mild scuffing.   Little to No audible issues.

VG+: Still has some shine with light scratches and mild to moderate scuffing.  Possibly some light crackle in a few spots and in between tracks.

VG: Some wear, scratches and scuffs, but no skipped or repeat grooves.

I DON'T LIST anything below this grade and very rarely list anything below "VG+".

  • I "Wet wash" and microfiber polish all vinyl before it's listed.  
  • I will always include a brand new, white inner sleeve if the original is not included or if the original is not in good condition (but I still include it).
  • I will always include a brand new, plastic outer sleeve even in the record you're buying is still in shrink.
  • I package WELL, do not ship records inside inner sleeves and SHIP PROMPTLY!
