DESCRIPTION:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Jethro Tull LP – This Was on the Island Records Label, (1st Pressing Pink Label / Black & Orange “Circle Logo” Stereo) Catalogue No ILP 9085, (Matrix ILP + 9085 + A / B), Year 1968. This Was – The Debut LP featuring Mick Abrahams on Guitar. The Late 1960’s Heavy Pressed Vinyl is visually in (VG+) Condition and has some noticeable faint surface marks and hairlines, and plays through Great with occasional faint audio surface noise / a few clicks as associated with records of this age. The Rough Textured Pink Record Label is superbly clean with barely a trace of any spindle wear, indicating the record has not been played often. The Heavy Duty Laminated Gatefold LP sleeve is slightly off centre (A common Occurrence) and is in (VG+) condition with a wonderful clear front picture of the band, and has a couple of minor creases and a little edge / corner wear on the front right hand side. The non-laminated inside of the Gatefold sleeve is lovely and clean and has the flip back top. The back of the sleeve is lovely and clean. The Heavy Duty spine is very slightly off centre angle and is fully in-tact and perfectly legible to read. Becoming very rare as an original Mono Pink Island LP. A very nice and respectable copy of this highly sought after LP.
