CONDITION
SLEEVE: (EX) NON LAMINATED HARDBACK TEXTURED UK GATEFOLD SLEEVE HAS LIGHT WEAR FROM HANDLING AND STORAGE WITH SOME BUMPING TO THE TOP AND BOTTOM EDGE. THE INSIDE IS CLEAN WITH ALL THE PAGES ATTACHED. THE ONLY MINOR DEFECT IS THE STAPLES HAVE RIPPED THE THE SPINE OF THE FIRST PAGE BUT IT IS STILL ATTACHED(SEE PICUTRES). THIS IS QUITE COMMON ON THIS LP BECAUSE OF THE DESIGN BUT THIS COPY IS DEFINTELY MUCH BETTER THAN MOST! NO WRITING.NO SPLITS.
SPINE: (NEAR MINT) NO DAMAGE NO SCUFFING. LOOKS PERFECT!
INNER: (N/A) THE ORIGINAL ATTACHED BOOKLET HOUSED THE VINYLS SO THERE WERE NO SEPERATE INNERS. NO SPLITS NO WRITING AND NO STICKERS. I WILL INCLUDE TWO BRAND NEW POLYLINED PAPER INNERS.
LABELS: (NEAR MINT) LABELS ARE FREE FROM ANY UNWANTED WRITING & STICKERS. NO VISIBLE SPINDLE MARKS!
VINYL VISUALLY: (EX) BOTH RECORDS ARE FLAT & GLOSSY. WHEN ANGLED UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT YOU CAN SEE A FEW LIGHT PAPER SCUFFS AND HAIRLINES. THE VINYL HAS BEEN STORED UNTOUCHED FOR OVER 40 YEARS! VERY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!
PLAYING GRADE: SIDE 1 & 2 (EX+) SIDE 3 (EX-) SIDE 4 (EX+) BOTH RECORDS HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO ON HEADPHONES ON A COUPLE OF SYSTEMS WITH A SHURE WHITE LABEL CARTRIDGE & STEREO NEEDLE & EACH SIDE PLAYS AT LEAST EXCELLENT WITH SOME LIGHT BACKGROUND CRACKLE NOTICEABLE IN PLACES DURING THE QUIETER MUSIC AND GAPS IN THE MUSIC. SIDE 3 HAS A FEW LIGHT TICKS DURING THE BEGINNING HALF OF THE FIRST TRACK THAT COME AND GO BUT NOTHING TO SPOIL THE LISTEN. QUIET RUN-INS ON BOTH SIDES AND BETWEEN TRACKS WITH NO DISTORTION NO SKIPS NO JUMPS AND NO POPS. I AM BEING HIGHLY CRITICAL AND MY PLAY GRADE IS ALWAYS BASED ON WHAT I CAN HEAR ON HEADPHONES WITH THE TREBLE TURNED UP FULL! EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN ANY CONDITON ESPECIALLY AS A GENUINE UK 1ST PRESSING! THE PRODUCTION ON THIS ALBUM IUS SIMPLY AWESOME AND FAR SUPERIOR TO ANY DIGITAL REMASTER OR VINYL REPRESSING. A BEAUTIFUL SOUNDING AND LOOKING UK 1ST PRESS ALBUM TO KEEP AND TREASURE FOR YEARS TO COME!
EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION!!
DON`T MISS OUT ON THIS!!
GRADING
All records are graded using the Record Collector Grading System with (+) or (-) to show a slightly higher or lower grade.
M (Mint) : The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EX (Excellent): The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG (Very Good) : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
G (Good) : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
F (Fair) : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
