Description

JETHRO TULL - RING OUT, SOLSTICE BELLS - 1976 US 12" DJ PROMO - EXCELLENT+

This a very rare US promotional 12" single of Jethro Tull's 1976 EP "Ring Out, Solstice Bells". Tracklisting: Side 1: Ring Out, Solstice Bells (03:40); March, The Mad Scientist (01:47); Side 2: Christmas Song (03:04); Pan Dance (03:24).

This 12" single EP was released in 1976 in the USA on the Chrysalis Records label (green), catalogue number CHS 3 PDJ, made in the US. The regular release of this EP was on 7" single format, also in the USA; only this DJ Promo for radio play only, was made on 12" single format. It is Jethro Tull's first US Promo disc on 12" format! The disc goes in a white paper inner sleeve and then goes in a hard carboard picture sleeve which clearly states on top of the back "This Record is for Radio Use Only and is not available commercially".

The record and the sleeve are in excellent condition; there is no surface noise and there are no major defects like scratches or jumps; it has obviously not been played many times! The sleeve is in the same condition; no tear, no wear, no sticker stains, no writing, no nicks, etc. An absolute beauty in excellent condition or EX+! 

Another rare US promo, this time in 12" format! You won't find another one in this excellent condition!!
