Description
JETHRO TULL - STAND UP LP, a great example of the very first 1969 pressing on the Island pink , black/orange circle label.Hard to find first pressings in such good shape,most appear with loose or missing pop-up characters.
I have graded the item by using the Record Collector system and I judge it to be slightly short of EX/EX,but only just. The gatefold sleeve VG and still fully intact has been well looked after and has only minor shelf wear. I would estimate that it falls just under EX due to a dent in the otherwise strong spine,there is only a small degree of fraying on the corners.The pop-up is remarkably undamaged.In the top right corner a small sticker mark can be found but has not caused any real damage. The vinyl is clear of marks except for one of only 2mm size which does not adversely affect the sound quality and you have to look very closely to find it. There are a small amount of hairlines which can be seen with a magnifying glass,and these may have been caused by the inner bag.On side two pink label there is a small oil spot. Cat.no. ILPS - 9103 with A + B matrixs.
The item will be posted by Royal Mail signed for,in a cardboard envelope and protected by boards inside,while the vinyl and inner bag will be separated to minimise the risk of damage.
