                           Released in 1969 on the " PINK ISLAND "  LABEL   ILPS - 9103  stereo 

                                                  Condition:-  EXCELLENT / NEAR MINT

                    I bought this Album in 1969 the week it was released.  It was a special order from my
                    local record shop so it was never put out on display for the public to handle.  It was
                    played on a high quality record deck (Thorens 125 turntable, SME arm with Shure V15
                    cartridge.)  It was always cleaned with a high quality record cleaner and stored in a
                    plastic outer sleeve for protection.  I am not a record dealer, I am just selling off my own
                    private Album collection.

                                                                    THE  COVER

                    The COVER is in a NEAR MINT condition.  It is utterly STUNNING in a SEMI SHEEN
                    finish.  The WHOLE ALBUM is VERY CLEAN.  The FRONT COVER has no marks
                    whatsoever.  Inside the GATEFOLD with the STAND UP figures, it all looks like NEW,
                    not a mark in sight, it's really BEAUTIFUL.  The FOUR CORNERS are all FIRM and
                    TRUE with only one extremely light surface scuff mark on the front cover, bottom right
                    hand corner, which is almost invisible.  The SPINE is SQUARE and SHARP with very
                    CLEAR writing and no sign of wear. The Sleeve opening is straight, without any fraying
                    The BACK COVER is VERY CLEAN except for a couple of little marks as shown in my
                    photos.  For an Album cover of 39 years old, it is almost as good as NEW.
                   

                                                                        THE  VINYL

                    The VINYL is in EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT in condition.  It is VERY CLEAN with a
                    HIGH GLOSS MIRROR finish.  There are no scratches or finger marks.  The LABELS
                    are the "PINK ISLAND" Labels and look like NEW.  There are no SPINDLE marks
                    whatsoever.  The SOUND QUALITY is CLEAR and DETAILED with BEAUTIFUL audio
                    throughout.  Side 1. is in EXCELLENT condition with just one click on track 3.  There are
                    some pops and crackles at times.  Side 2. is in NEAR MINT condition with a VERY CLEAN
                    sound, with no pops and crackles.  The TEST PLAY was the first time this ALBUM has
                    been played in 37 years.  It was played on my REGA PLANAR 3. turntable with ORTOFON
                    cartridge. It played BEAUTIFULLY throughout.  It was so lovely to hear this Album again,
                    it was fresh and exciting with their unique style.
