Hi, Its time to clear out most of my records. As you will see by my user name I am very into mainly music from 1964-1973.I was lucky to be around at a great time in the UK and I was able to see most of the classic bands and I collected some great records. I am very clued up about different UK pressings as I have collected vinyl for around 30 years. I will be adding some gems from now on from my collection. I have taken great effort in my pictures so that you will see my items are very carefully graded, I think my pictures will show this. RARE UK 1969 1st PRESSING BALL LABELS STEREO PINK ISLAND LP (ILPS 9103)
This is the very 1st pressing on the original Pink Island label with the ball eye. This LP was only pressed on this label for around 1 month before is was pressed on the black block eye label then the 3rd and most common pressing on the i label in early 1970. This 1st pressing is getting rarer as time go's on ,the LP also comes in it's original 1st issue cover with NO stereo text on the spine. My grading below is strict this is now a rare LP with the 1st press labels.
<< The Record >>
The LP is in very clean condition, I will grade as Very Good+++ / Near Excellent condition. The LP plays really well with good playback sound there is just a little surface crackle on the very quite parts in some places but nothing serious. The LP has it full original superb gloss with just a little light surface wear under direct light. My site will have the strictest of standards and my grading is very fair to the buyer, you will not be disappointed.

<< The Labels >>
Both 1st press labels Are in nice clean bright condition and graded as Excellent. There is just a few aging spots (common with pink island textured labels) but nothing serious (my pictures show this up more than it is in normal light)
<< The Cover >>
The pop up cover is also in nice condition and is a 1st press cover with NO stereo text on the spine (later covers had this). This cover was not laminated so finding one in top shape now is very hard. I will grade the cover as Near Excellent condition with a little storage wear only with a little rubbing to the very edges but nothing major , the cover is still very smart . As you will see by the pictures this grading is very strict and the pop up inside is still superb in full working order with no tears.

The original inner is in a great Excellent condition. I have placed the LP in a new inner to stop damage to the original when in the post.

I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All records are sent out in a plastic cover with the record NOT inside the front cover to stop splits and damage. I will also place the LP in a new inner cover to stop damage to the original when in the post. Insurance is available . The choice is yours if you take it or not. I will get a proof of posting for all items sent out. I will not be responsible for lost post if insurance is not taken.
