Hi, Its time to clear out most of my records. As you will see by my user name I am very into mainly music from 1964-1973.I was lucky to be around at a great time in the UK and I was able to see most of the classic bands and I collected some great records. I am very clued up about different UK pressings as I have collected vinyl for around 30 years. I will be adding some gems from now on from my collection. I have taken great effort in my pictures so that you will see my items are very carefully graded, I think my pictures will show this. VERY RARE 1969 STEREO UK PINK ISLAND LP With Pop Up Cover (ILPS 9103)
Matrix Numbers.....ILPS+9103+A / ILPS+9103+B
This pressing was issued in late 1969 it features the very sort lived Black Block i pink island labels.This label design was pressed on only a handful of different island Lps then changed for the standard i label that came at the very start of 1970. This LP is not easy found with these labels and even more so in nice condition. This is a very nice example as I am sure you will see by the many pictures I have provided. Seeing Tull at the end of the 60's with the original line up was a magical event. Do not miss this LP ,it is a rare variation of a true classic LP.
The Record....Firstly I must say this is a great heavy weight vinyl pressing. Later pressings as time went on are thiner and are no way as good.The record has great sound with its true stereo mix clear and sharp.The record still has its superb full gloss with only a couple of very light surface marks only ,that is it no deep marks and as you will see by the beautiful labels the LP has had very few plays and to find a nicer example of this very rare pressing will prove very hard. I will grade as a top NEAR EXCELLENT condition.
The Labels....Are both in a lovely Near Mint Condition. As you will see by the pictures the labels are in a wonderful condition.
The Inner Cover....The original inner is polylined and in a wonderful clean top condition. I have placed the LP in a new inner to stop damage to the original when in the post.
Final summary....A really nice clean tidy example of this very hard to find label variation that rarely shows up for sale. This is a nice great sounding pressing of one of the great LPs of our time.

I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All records are sent out in a plastic cover with the record NOT inside the front cover to stop splits and damage. I will also place the LP in a new inner cover to stop damage to the original when in the post. Insurance is available . The choice is yours if you take it or not. I will get a proof of posting for all items sent out. I will not be responsible for lost post if insrace is not taken.
