JETHRO TULL, ‘THIS WAS’, AN ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE 1968 UK ISLAND RECORD LABEL STEREO LP IN LAMINATED, WIDE SPINE GATE-FOLD SLEEVE –Cat No, ILPS-9085.
This is the scarce 1968 UK First Issue, Debut Album Release from Jethro Tull in stereo format. The LP is on the rare Deep Pink *ISLAND* Record Labels, with Black & Orange Circle Logo and circled P date 1968.
Both record labels have a rough textured feel and are in Near Mint condition, super clean and bright record labels with signs of just a couple of plays on each label.
The plays without faults through all the Tracks, a really superb sound quality from this heavy vinyl LP.
The matrix’s side 1, ILPS + 9085+A, side 2, ILPS 9085+ B.
Both sides of the very substantial, heavyweight quality vinyl LP are in Excellent Plus Plus condition, super clean glossy vinyl surfaces to both sides with just light surface hairlines, there are no scratches or scuffs.
The LP is housed in it’s original front and back laminated Wide Spine Gate-fold Picture Sleeve which is in beautiful Excellent Plus to Near Mint condition. This sleeve is undamaged showing mild signs of LP storage to the reverse. All edges, the wide spine edge and the inner gate-fold part of the sleeve are undamaged, the internal flip-backs are in perfect condition.
