Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare UK STEREO pressing of Jethro Tull – This Was on the PINK ISLAND with the white “i” label, cat. no. ILPS 9085. This pressing still has the old matrix numbers (ILPS+9085+A2 and ILPS+9085+B2) in the run-off area, indicating that the first STEREO mix was used (all later pressings have a different matrix code, with a complete different mix).
The record is in EX+ condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines only. The vinyl is still very shiny and has not been played very much. The TEXTURED labels are in EX condition, there are only a few spindle marks.
The cover is in EX condition, there is only a small scuff mark on the lamination on the back, probably caused by a fingernail. Besides that mark, the cover looks very fresh, no writing, no rips or tears, or other damage.
Although this is a slightly later pressing with the white "i" on the label, the condition of this record is marvellous. This record is already 42 years old (I believe this is a pressing from around late 1969, beginning of 1970) and still looks and sounds as if it came from the shop just a couple weeks ago! This is a final upgrade for your PINK ISLAND or Jethro Tull collection! Happy Bidding!

Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
