Description

Very rare example of this first pressing Jethro Tull This Was mono album from 1968. Gatefold sleeve with wide spine (8mm.). This is on the Island label and has the Black/Orange eye logo printed on both sides of the centre label.
The cover is laminated back and front and the laminate has only minor crazing with no splits. The spine is still in good condition and all printing can be read (please see photos). The inside photographs are not laminated but there are no marks or scratches. Where the laminate folds over along the top edge there are a few rubbing marks. All 4 edges of the album are in good condition and the 4 corners are quite good, just some wear as shown in the photographs. No writing.
The original sleeve is poly lined and is in excellent condition with no splits.
The album plays through with just the occasional click but there are no jumps or skips. There is a visible mark about 5mm long across the track "Serenade to a Cuckoo" which clicks on some revolutions but not unduly so and does not detract from the pleasure of listening to it.
For sale to the UK only but I am part of the Ebay Global Shipping Program. If you live elsewhere in the world I may consider shipping abroad. Please contact to discuss.
