UK FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP IN TEXTURED SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL LYRIC INNER SLEEVE.
The rear of this sleeve is fully signed by all 5 band members. The seller managed a record store at the time of this album's release. The record label rep for the band's label had them sign some copies as part of the promotion effort, hence this being a first issue LP with the band signatures on. I do not know how many were signed like this, but I don't think it was more than a few hundred copies. It is rare to see any Jethro Tull albums signed by all the band, and any collector has quite a challenge amassing a collection of signed sleeves due to the constant membership turnover...this one has Ian Anderson, Dave Pegg, Martin Barre, Peter Vettese and Dave Perry.
MATRIX NUMBERS IN RUN-OFF GROOVES: SIDE A: CDL 1461 A//2 ? 420 C 1 / SIDE B: CDL 1461 B//1 ? 420 C
SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+, JUST LIGHT SHELF AND EDGE WEAR. SIGNED ON REAR BY BAND. INNER SLEEVE IS VERY GOOD+.
DISC: EXCELLENT MINUS. NO SCRATCHES AND NO NOTICEABLE SPINDLE WEAR, JUST A FEW LIGHT HAIRLINES. CLEAN LABELS BOTH SIDES. A SPLENDID PLAYING COPY WITH SUPERB AUDIO. NO SKIPS OR JUMPS, NO NOTICEABLE GROOVE WEAR, AND NO DETRIMENTAL SURFACE NOISES.
THIS ITEM SHIPS FROM THE UK:
Your shipping and handling pays for the following standard of service:
We ship the next working day after your payment is received. International Air Mail Small Packets take an average of 10-14 days to arrive, but please allow at least 21-28 days for your package to clear customs (South America, Canada and some other countries have notably slower customs clearance than others). Sadly, our experience shows that it can now take 7-14 days for tracked packages to be delivered in the UK, although 3-5 days is the average. LPs are shipped in professional, fluted card mailers with printed address labels and all relevant customs and tracking information attached. We appreciate payment within 5 days of the auction closing. Paypal requires sellers to prove delivery in the event of non-receipt claims and to have uploaded tracking information onto eBay, so regrettably we now only ship by Signed For/Tracked delivery if you choose to pay by Paypal (except the USA subsidised shipping rate). We do accept alternative payment methods if a cheaper shipping rate is important to you, as listed below:
Because the shipping rate to the USA from the UK is set by eBay and not the seller, at considerably less than actual cost, additional albums shipped at the same time cost $5.00 each extra LP.
Add $2.00 for each additional LP bought at the same time.
ACCEPTABLE PAYMENT METHODS FOR THE $5.99 SHIPPING RATE ARE:
POSTAL ORDER, BANK TRANSFER OR PERSONAL CHEQUE IN GBP STERLING (ALLOW 7 DAYS CLEARANCE ON CHEQUES BEFORE SHIPMENT). PLEASE LET US KNOW WHICH PAYMENT METHOD YOU ARE SENDING AND USE EBAY’S QUOTED EXCHANGE RATE FOR US$ TO GPB STERLING, OR CONTACT US FOR EXACT TOTAL.
Add $2.00 for each additional LP bought at the same time.
This means that there will be no more ‘lost’ packages to Eastern Europe, South America, etc. and guarantees that you will receive your purchase(s) safely with signature proof of delivery in accordance with Paypal/eBay’s requirements on sellers. SIGNED/TRACKED SHIPPING FOR INTERNATIONAL PAYPAL PAYMENTS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. If you intend to argue about this after an auction closes, please refrain from bidding in the first place.
Add $5.00 for each additional LP bought at the same time.
Please request bank transfer details at close of auction. Let us know when you have sent payment and your shipping address. We will check that payment has cleared online and ship the next day. The $15.99 un-tracked shipping rate is only available for payments not made through Paypal.
Add $5.00 for each additional LP bought at the same time.
This means that there will be no more ‘lost’ packages to Italy and Eastern Europe in particular, and guarantees that you will receive your purchase(s) safely with signature proof of delivery in accordance with Paypal/eBay’s requirements on sellers. SIGNED/TRACKED SHIPPING FOR EUROPEAN UNION PAYPAL PAYMENTS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. If you intend to argue about this after an auction closes, please refrain from bidding in the first place.
Add $5.00 for each additional LP bought at the same time.
