Description

You're bidding on an original mono pressing of the debut Tull album. It's a great example of this legendary LP. Featuring the classic textured pink island label and displays the "eye" logo. The overall condition is excellent and seriously hard to find an example as good. This is a gem for all island collectors especially as it's on the pink label dating 1968 when mono was all but dead. Great opportunity to hear the record in its original punchy and powerful mono interpretation.

CONDITION:

Label: great condition, no signs of aging, no marks no writing no stickers etc. Grade Very Good +++

Record audio: this sounds great, a bit of static when I first played through but otherwise this is flawless. No hops no hiss no sticks or skips. Very good +++

Record visual: some slight light marks just from general wear from.removing sleeve over the years. No deep, feel able scratches and nothing that retracts from the great sound of this LP. Very Good.

Sleeve: Original and laminated gatefold sleeve with some really cool imagery and a great photo in the middle. Still really strong and stable. The outer front cover has NO BAD MARKS and only one slight crack to the spine. The back outer cover is great NO MARKS but slight discolouration to the top left as you can see in the photo. The inside cover is FLAWLESS just some slight dust marks but nothing that couldn't be wiped away.

Overall: This is a great example of the DEBUT 1ST RELEASE JETHRO TULL on ORIGINAL PINK ISLAND MONO!!!! The record plays BEAUTIFULLY and is a must add to any fans of 60s rock and Island. Happy bidding.

Will be adding more 12" and 7" over the next few days and with a heavy heart - SELLING DUE TO DOWNSIZING. CHECK THEM OUT.
