Old eBay prices: $200 + $173. Classic from 1981. Original first US pressing with small center hole labels and glossy sleeve. Early and brilliant Hardcore Skatecore from Phoenix, Arizona. J.F.A. stands for JUDY FOSTER'S ARMY (and Jodie Foster gave them her permission to use her name). Their first, best and rarest 7“ titled 'Blatant Localism ' EP and features the following really fast bombers. ‘Out Of School’ / ‘Cokes & Snickers’ / ‘Count’ / ‘Beach Blanket Bong Out’ / ‘JFA’ and ‘Do The Hannigan’. Released on famous Hardcore Punk label ‘Placebo’ records (catalogue number PLA-101). Even the late great John Peel owned this 7” and played ‘Count’ on his show, and stated, at that point in time, that it was the shortest song he knew of. Complete with lyric sheet.
