Description
Old eBay prices: £30 + £25. Rare German pressing with lots of differences to the UK issue. Produced by Martin Zero Hannett who also produced the 'Spiral Scratch' EP from the BUZZCOCKS. The first 7” by JILTED JOHN was released on the CRYSTAL label (catalogue number 006 CRY 61 880). UK pressings were born on RABID records and later re-pressed on EMI. UK issues do have 'Going Steady' on the A-side. German pressings show the wonderful song 'Jilted John' as the appetizer. This 'Made In Germany' single shows 'Going Steady' in the middle on top of the sleeve. UK issues do have this song title on the right side. The photo of this German issue is smaller to the UK counterpart. Both tracks are brilliant melody-makers, topped with superb British vocals.

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders outside Germany which exceed a value of €15 or £12 or $16 will only be sent by registered mail.
