Description
JIM MORRISON & THE DOORS An American Prayer hails from 2018 and is a SEALED 180 Gram Red Vinyl LP issued for Record Store Day (blackened UPC, dinged bottom corner, and creases on back). The final studio album by the Doors, originally released November 1978, is to be released as a 40th Anniversary edition (almost to the day), for Record Store Day Black Friday 2018. Seven years after Jim Morrison died, and five years after the remaining members of the band broke up, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore reunited and recorded backing tracks over Morrison’s poetry (originally recorded in 1969-1970). This numbered, 180gram red vinyl edition - featuring a 12 page booklet & lithograph - is strictly limited and numbered to 7000 units worldwide.
