On offer another RARITY by JIMI HENDRIX. FOLLOWING THE RELEASE OF ALL THE FIRST PRESSING WITH DIFFERENT FRENCH COVERS BARCLAY IN THE 70'S DECIDED TO RELEASE AGAIN ALL THE OFFICIAL HENDRIX LPS AND COMMISSIONED FAMOUS COMIC ARTISTS TO CREATE THE SLEEVES.

This double LP titled JIMI HENDRIX /1 contains “ARE YOU EXPERIENCED AND AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE” and this is the MEGA RARE AND HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL FRENCH Pressing on the RARE BARCLAY label with a specially commissioned cover to MOEBIUS that is different to the rest of the world! It is also known as VOODOO SOUP due to the drawing of Hendrix eating a strange soup in the sleeve whilst a robbery takes place in the street.          

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1975 FRENCH PRESSING ON THE BARCLAY LABEL WITH THE ULTRA RARE COVER BY MOEBIUS WITH THE INSIDE COVER PHOTOS BY JEAN PIERRE LELOIR.  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND  

The ULTRA RARE Gatefold Cover by MOEBIUS is in very good to excellent condition with  a sticker mark that has been repaired, ring and corner wear. 

The spine is  fully readable in excellent condition with edge and corner wear.

The inside non laminated sleeve has the unique French black and white photographs by Jean Pierre Leloir.

The vinyl is visually graded to be overall in near mint condition with minimum play. Please see below a description of gradings.

The black Barclay record labels are in near mint condition showing how little play this record has had.

Guide to grades used

Mint                      

Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage

Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible

Near Mint              

Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.

Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve

Excellent                

Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.

Disc- The record has been played and will have superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.

Very good              

Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.

Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.

Good                      

Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.

Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler

I am not a dealer but an amateur collector selling duplicated items or records that I no longer want to keep (mostly due to space). I do not clean records (other than a dust with anti-static) and unless indicated in the listing the records have been only visually inspected.

Whilst I am happy to provide help and advice, all such claims remain the responsibility of and must be made by the buyer.

If the bidding exceeds £46, in the UK the item will be ONLY sent insured by special recorded next day guaranteed delivery post (insured up to a value of £500) at a cost of £8. The above P&P quoted is for UK only and the same principal on insurance will apply to international bidders who will need to pay £5.7 insurance in addition to the p&p.
