A 33 1/3 RPM mono vinyl LP, 'Are You Experienced' by The Jimi Hendrix Experience

The album was released in 1967 on Kit Lambert and Chris Stamp's Track Record label. It was the first ever release on Track 

This was the debut album from The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Recorded at De Lane Lea, CBS and Olympic Studios in London between October 1966 and April, 1967 and released in May,1967

This is the 1st UK release, which was in 'mono' only

All songs were written by Jimi Hendrix

Musicians:- Jimi Hendrix, vocals and lead guitar; Noel Redding, bass and vocals; Mitch Mitchell, drums 

Produced by Chas Chandler (not credited)

This version of the album cover is only laminated on the front. The sleeve was designed by Chris Stamp and features a colour photo by Bruce Fleming on the front cover and further b & w photos by him on the back. The band's name does not appear on the front cover, only on the back with just 'Jimi Hendrix' on the spine. There are short biographies of each band member on the back. There is no track listing.

Matt black and silver labels with ? 1967 under the cat no., and no track timings,

Original poly-lined, white paper, inner sleeve (printed with "Made in England 057" and "British Patent No 800513 & 973939"). Comes with and additional plain, white paper, poly-lined, replacement inner sleeve and clear plastic, protective, outer sleeve.

Condition

The vinyl  looks VG. 

There are quite a few visible scratches on both sides. However there are no serious pops, and the record plays through without any skipping or sticking. There is surface noise throughout, though it lessens towards the end. It's not enough to be intrusive and the record is very listenable

The sleeve is VG. Some ring and edge wear and there is a sellotape mark across the top of the back cover. Some small creases where the laminate is starting to lift. (see photos). 

The original inner sleeve is creased and marked with tears at the opening. The included replacement sleeve is unamrked and intact.
