  • Laminated Gatefold Sleeve
  • 1st Pressing Matrix Numbers

Side 1 - 612003 A ?1

Side 2 - 612003 B ? 1

Cover: 1st pressing E.J. DAY laminated gatefold sleeve. Has the Mono/Stereo text in the bottom right hand corner of the inside gatefold. The outer sleeve is VG+ with a small scuff to top right corner and some minor marks. Small amount of wear to the corners/edges. Nice spine. The inside of the gatefold has the trademark 1st pressing E J Day laminated  'flipbacks'  on both sides at the top and at the bottom. The inside is Excellent - just has the word 'jane' written in very small letters in bottom right hand corner. Original paper (non poly-lined) inner sleeve is VG.

Poster: This huge (30" x 18") poster came with the LP when I purchased it second hand many years ago. Looks like it is either an ex shop display or reproduction poster. Looks fantastic and would be great framed.

Photos: I also found these two photos in the cover when I bought it second hand. I do not know if they are original or reproductions but they look nice anyway.

Vinyl: Thick first pressing vinyl. Play tested. Looks VG+ and plays VG. No skips/jumps. There is crackle - particularly noticeable at the  beginning of each side, during the quieter moments and between tracks. The crackle is barely noticeable during the rocking tracks like Spanish Castle Magic. Still sounds fabulous if you do not mind a bit of crackle.

Labels: Excellent. Has the tell-tale 1st pressing raised rim around the label's circumference. Schroeder Music Publishing Co Ltd at the base of the label.

Gradings.......Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and  more significant scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
