Mono 1st pressings of this LP are incredibly rare and command much higher prices than the slightly more common Stereo 1st pressings.
Cover: 1st pressing E.J. DAY laminated gatefold sleeve. Has the Mono/Stereo text in the bottom right hand corner of the inside gatefold. The outer sleeve is excellent+ to near mint with no writings/doodles, no ringwear or seam splitting. Hardly any laminate creasing. Tiny amount of wear to the corners/spine. The inside of the gatefold has the trademark 1st pressing E J Day laminated 'flipbacks' on both sides at the top and at the bottom. The inside is in fantastic physical condition but the previous owner has written a name and address inside between JH and Mitch Mitchell - see photo. Overall, one of the best covers I seen in many years.
Inner lyric sheet/poster: Excellent+. Complete with no seam splits - a tiny nick at the bottom - hardly noticeable. Has been folded in the past but these creases should be easy enough to iron out.
Vinyl: Thick first pressing vinyl. Looks under a strong light to be VG+ to Near Excellent. The vinyl has a nice glossy sheen. Both sides have some light hairlines and some light feathering - probably caused by removal from the inner sleeve prior to playing rather than from being played. This is a very nice copy of an extremely rare record that has been used but not abused. Certainly this is the best I have seen in many years.
Labels: Near Mint. Has the tell-tale 1st pressing raised rim around the label's circumference. Schroeder Music Publishing Co Ltd at the base of the label.

Gradings.......Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
