The mono issues were available in UK, US, Australia and New Zealand All issues have a 2nd A-Side mix, after the original A-side Master was lost. The mono has distinct differences in the [separate] mix to the stereo, most noticeable in the vocals. EXP is a lot shorter in mono mix than in stereo.
Earliest correct UK first press version of front only laminated sleeve with Ernest J. Day printing credit in the gatefold.
First press matrix.

- THE COVER
- The front laminated cover has a few line creases at the edges
- but all the edges are straight and true with a strong spine.
- There is a small nick at the bottom as shown in the photos.
- The inner gatefold has a small tear again shown in the photos.
THE LABELS
The matt black & silver coloured labels are in super condition with
rich vibrant unblemished colours.
There are no marks, stains or writing on the labels.
The silver typeface is perfectly legible and without damage or rubbing.The spindle hole is unworn BUT there are spindle traces.
THE VINYL
The vinyl is in super condition and still retains its original sheen.
The odd minor hairline on side one considering this record is 56 years old!.
THE TEST PLAY
The record plays through as easily EX on both sides with no distortion whatsoever.
There are no loud clicks or pops. There may be the odd soft tic/dust static. Absolutely nothing serious.
I think there may be a pressing blemish at the start of side two.
Not sure if there is a stutter at the very start (1st revolution only)

- EXCELLENT ~ The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. There may be some light crackle but NO major problems like LOUD clicks. Occasional soft tics are acceptable. There may be hairlines. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I have to say is nice player with great stereo audio. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
THIS IS AN VERY RESPECTABLE PLAYING ORIGINAL EXAMPLE OF THIS LANDMARK ALBUM.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me.
I PLAY ALL MY RECORDS IN THEIR ENTIRETY AND DO NOT GUESS AS TO HOW THEY SOUND.
