Description
On offer an original pressing copy of the Jimi Hendrix Experience's 'Are You Experienced' from 1967. The sleeve is a nice EX, great square corners, front has some laminate creases but definitely nothing major at all, and the spine writing clocks in at 75% (often very worn print or gone completely on these sleeves). The back is non laminated and very nice, bar some minimal ringwear and the odd spot. Vinyl wise the disc is visually EX+ and the playback is fantastic BUT - and this is the shame - there is a patch about 2/3 of the way through 'Third Stone From The Sun' where the song skips once, then there are a couple of pops then one momentary patch of hiss, due to a tiny scratch that runs with the grooves. The grooves are 'darker' in this small area, maybe the record was accidentally played with a 78 needle once. No actual distortion though despite the faults and the 78 needle 'theory' Otherwise this would be a pretty super all round copy. Just pressed looking labels, very little spindle marking plus the record comes in its original poly lined sleeve.
