Following MANY years of collecting I've now decided that more of my desirable copies have got to go. Space is at a premium.
Title JIMI HENDRIX Are you experienced LP - A VERY SOUGHT AFTER LP
- A 1967 ORIGINAL 1st PRESS VINYL which is a hugely desirable LP. This has all the hallmarks of the 'real thing'!
BLACK TEXTURED Track Labels - early matrix No's WITH THE CORRECTED 'A' in the 'B' side matrix which is a
strong indicator of a first pressing - Raised area around the centre hole in the label.

Matrix A v 1 / B * v 1 INDICATING one of the EARLIEST of this first batch pressing
VINYL CONDITION - The vinyl looks in super condition and plays great - THE SURFACE OF THE VINYL HAS A LOVELY SHINE WITH JUST VERY MINIMAL WHISPY LIGHT SURFACE MARKS. There are very few spindle marks on the labels which shows that this record has been been played JUST A VERY FEW TIMES.
AUDIO - I have just played both side while writing this listing and I can GUARANTEE there are NO JUMPS and NO PLACES WHERE IT STICKS and NO LOUD POPS etc. But THERE IS surface noise in the run-ins (most noticable on side two which starts with a quiet track - May This be love) and the light surface noise is audible in other tracks - but really not so bad that it spoils the enjoyment. I am explaining the worst case scenario but if you buy it you mat well agree that I have overstated the negatives. Let me emphasise - this is a VERY GOOD / EXCELLENT looking vinyl which plays almost to its visual rating. I bet there have been worse copies than this sold on Ebay, for lots of dosh, which aren't as good as this copy!!!
It is an awesome LP and musically, very much before its time.
The OUTER SLEEVE
The FRONT LAMINATED E.J.DAY / PAPENTS PENDING sleeve is intact but with CREASING UNDER THE LAMINATION. It has NO writing, NO tears and BUT THERE IS A 5 INCH SPLIT ON THE SPINE and the residue of an old cellotape repair to the bottom seam, which has since been reglued properly - the tape marks actually looks worse in the picture than it really is. There is some light 'feathery' edge and corner wear. There are handling and light scuffing marks on the unlaminated back cover but all the text is perfectly readable. At 43 years old - it just looks its age!
The INNER is a plain white shaped sleeve with Made in Great Britain - Patents Pending.
It looks about the right era but I'm not sure if its the original sleeve to match this LP. It is intact and no tears and no splits etc. THANKS FOR LOOKING - this is a REALLY GOOD EXAMPLE of an LP which is now hugely expensive to buy in its first pressing format. See my feedback for confidence that I sell in the correct manner. I charge a small postage fee because I send by FIRST CLASS POST and records are properly packaged with card stiffeners in professionally made mailers. I do not penalise buyers by charging over-inflated P&P though.
