Description
1967 Track Record (612003) MONO release of the Jimi Hendrix Experience’s second album, Axis Bold as Love. The MONO release is extremely rare and comes with the superb original orange lyric sheet inside the gatefold sleeve. LP has A/1 B/1 Matrix endings and as with the earliest pressings is on extra thick vinyl.
Vinyl:
I have play-graded (extremely loudly!) and would describe the vinyl condition as Very Good+. This is because there are some visible marks on the surface of the vinyl. Light surface noise is audible in between tracks and at the very beginning of some of the quieter tracks, but in my opinion this does not affect the listening experience unduly. This is a very honest appraisal – I would not describe an LP as ‘Near Mint’ etc. if it was unwarranted! Please see the gradings I use below.
Record Sleeve:
E.J.Day laminated gate-fold sleeve is in Excellent condition with only slight wear on the fold. The insert is in very good condition, with just a slight tear along the centre of the fold.
GRADINGS
* MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
* EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
* VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
* VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
