On offer here is a very rare LP by The Jimi Hendrix Experience called 'Axis:Bold As Love' and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1st MONO Pressing with RARE INSERT.
THIS LP IS PART OF MY OWN COLLECTION AND PRE-ORDERED BY MYSELF IN NOVEMBER 1967 THE ACTUAL RELEASE DATE WAS 1ST DECEMBER. IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO FIND A MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP AT ALL - BUT THIS ONE IS EVEN RARER AS IT IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS RARE INSERT.
This is the VERY RARE MONO original Track UK 1st pressing from 1967 and is in GREAT condition. The record is pressed on very THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 612 003 with matrix no. A1+ A2, which shows it to be a 1st pressing that is very rarely even mentioned in Discographys of Jimi, 613 003 the stereo version is usually the only one mentioned.
The RARE earliest 1st Press 'Textured' record labels are in STUNNING condition with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl on this LP isnt Mint but has only a few very light marks and it plays VERY well indeed. There are no jumps, pops or crackles while the music is playing, there is a pop on the run out just as the fade out from "If 6 was 9 " is finishing but this doesnt interfere with the music.
As I have already stated this is from my own collection and was never bought as an investment so while the Gatefold is in good condition it is not mint. There is slight waving on the edge of the part where the record goes in and there is a bare patch on the spine about 1cm long which can be seen in the picture if you look closely.
The RARE insert has no NO RIPS OR TEARS but shows faint ruffling under harsh lighting as can be seen in the picture with the camera flash. Having said that it is still in VERY good condition for saying its over 37 years old. I've tried to show the condition accurately in the pictures but if anyone wants anything in particular, ask and I'll e-mail pictures.
Watch out for the rest of my Jimi Hendrix collection which are all the offical releases which were pre -ordered and are all 1st pressings.
