JIMI HENDRIX

CAN YOU HERE* ME ROCK

HEMERO 01

RARE DUTCH FAN CLUB ISSUE!

FRENCH DOUBLE VINYL!

*All spelling exactly as shown on the sleeve!

A scarce opportunity to bid for this rare Dutch Fan Club issue on French double vinyl!

Bought second-hand from a market stall in Oxford, U.K., 10-15 years ago, it has just been

carefully stored, unplayed, ever since!

I'm not sure of the release date, but guess it may be '80s or '90s.

Sleeve: Thick laminated card with the front cover showing a grainy, black-and-white photo of Jimi

Hendrix in fringed jacket and fedora, with guitar. The album title is printed in black capitals against

a white background to the right of the image and reads from bottom to top. The front image overlaps

onto the back cover by approximately 90mm, with the following text printed in white capitals, bottom-

right:

'NOT FOR SALE

DUTCH FAN CLUB

RELEASE'

There is a small monochrome photo, top-left, showing Jimi Hendrix on stage, which looks to have been

taken from the wings. Track listing is shown below, with the catalogue number, bottom-left. The sleeve

is in great condition for around 30 years of age! It is intact, with no tears, repairs or notations and the

laminate is also fully intact! There is a bump at the bottom-right corner which has caused the front

cover card to delaminate across a narrow area approximately 65mm in length. The corresponding

corner on the back cover is just beginning to lift and the bottom-centre edge of the rear surface is

doing the same across a 25mm area, but only at the extreme edge. There is some slight, (age-

related?) discolouration visible on the pale surfaces of three edges on the back cover and faint,

partial ring marks can be seen when the cover is angled to the light. Aside from these issues,

the cover looks fantastic!

Inner Sleeves: 1. Plain white, slightly shaped, partly die-cut, matt paper, poly-lined bag, which is intact and unmarked!

2. White, die-cut, shiny paper, poly-lined bag, with nine grey Goldring logos in the bottom-left corner on one side.

The sleeve is intact and unmarked!

Matrix Numbers: Side A - 410.001-A-

Side B - 410 001-B-

Side C - 410.002-A-

Side D - 410.002-B-

Vinyl: Clean and shiny, with no major marks visible on Sides A and B. There is what looks like a small

'smear' in the final band on Side C, but this cannot be felt with a fingertip and I assume this is within the

vinyl, rather than on it. There is a small (5mm), narrow surface mark/scratch in the final band on Side D.

Aside from these issues, the vinyl looks very nice indeed!

Labels: All four labels have been applied slightly off-centre. A small outer section of the label on Side B

looks to have been torn and re-glued, but not enough to hide the join. A small section of the label edge

on Side D is cut straight, rather than in a curve. Apart from these issues, the labels are unmarked!

See below for details of postage costs for this item.

This is just one item from my own extensive and eclectic personal collection of music and related bits and pieces which I will be listing over the next few months, or so.

I have been collecting for more than 30 years, so check back regularly to see what other gems I may have unearthed - they won't be listed in any particular order! My

recent absence from eBay has been because of work commitments but, as they seem to have dried up, I will be spending more time disposing of my collection!

I am not a dealer, so won't use traditional grading terms but, instead, will describe each item as carefully and honestly as I can with text and photos. Bidders are then free

to form their own opinions. Any apparent marks showing in the photos are reflections or dust, etc., unless otherwise specifically identified. If in doubt, please contact me

with any queries before bidding and I will get back to you promptly with an answer. I will also keep you informed throughout the whole eBay process.

All vinyl will be packaged in sturdy cardboard mailers with at least one stiffener and will be despatched within 2 working days of payment being received. PayPal is preferred,

but please contact me before bidding to discuss alternative, acceptable methods. Postage rates: UK Standard - 2nd Class £3.10, Europe/R.O.T.W - AirMail Standard

£7.00/£11.50.

Please note that I do not combine postage. All items are packaged and sent individually, so as to minimise damage and/or loss.

Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!
