ARTIST : THE JIMI HENRIX EXPERIENCE.
TITLE : ELECTRIC LADYLAND 2-PAGE SPREAD US ORIGINAL ADVERTISEMENT, 1968.
This wonderful, original & rare piece of Jimi Hendrix memorabilia is from the US 'Rolling Stone' magazine issue clearly dated 7th December 1968. It features 2-page centrefold featuring the release of his album 'Electric Ladyland'. The short accompanying article ('Tits'n'Ass LP'), incorrectly states that the LP, due to its cover, was to be sold in the in plain brown-paper wrappers ! (Oh really ??! I never saw a copy in a wrapper.) This would make a great showpiece if framed. Condition is VG++ only because the 52 year old paper has minor signs of ageing, which actually adds to the overall effect. A real one-off item. UK POSTAGE IS FREE IN THE UK ONLY. All Records are graded using the standard Record Collector Guide.Pna = playing not affected. Wol = writing on label. Tol = tear on label. GRADING : Ex+ : A high graded copy. EX : Some signs of having been played but very little lessening in sound quality. VG : Has obviously been played many times but no major lessening in sound quality, despite noticeable surface and occasional light scratch, scuff or minor surface lines. Plays well. G : Well played, so that sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some distortion and mild scratches or scuffs. G - :Displays wear and surface noise but no jumps. Ideal for juke boxes, etc. POSTAGE & SHIPPING CHARGES - All items shipped in strong purpose-made record envelopes. Combined P&P always calculated.
