Description
JIMI HENDRIX - Are You Experienced. Track Records. UK Pressing . MONO. 612001. Matrices A1/B1
Vinyl is heavy and generally pretty clean looking, Some hairlines can be seen under a spotlight. It has a visible scratch going across track one side one just touching track 2. I've given it a good clean and I've play listened to it carefully on my Rega P9 with the unforgiving MC Apheta cartridge. This will pick up all audible defects and i've done my best to list them below.
Side one - Track one . It has an audible click throughout the song and at the beginning of track two. The rest of side one has no clicks, no pops , no repeats and no skips. It has quite high level crackle that can be heard in between the songs but is generally drowned out by the music.
Side two - No scratches, no clicks, no pops , no repeats and no skips (Hooray!) and the crackle is less than side one, very low level at the start of the album but seems to get worse towards the end. Don't forget my sensitive cartridge does seem to exaggerate all defects.Overall VG
Sleeve - Hopefully the photos will tell the whole story but it is front laminated, it has scuffed corners and some laminate cracking. The print on the spine is mostly worn away but no unwanted writing and in good general shape. Overall i would say a bit better than VG+.
POSTAGE
I’ve had a few parcels going missing in the post recently and as a consequence will only be sending packages via a “signed for” service, therefore my new charges are as follows:-
UK 1st Class £4.50; Europe Standard Airmail £11; Rest of World Standard airmail £15.Add an extra £1.50 for double albums and each extra LP.
PLEASE NOTE :- If the value of your parcel is less than £20 then I can send it standard post and will be slightly less than listed. Please ask for an invoice before paying. If the package is valued at more than £50 then I will need to add insurance to your parcel which will be an extra £2 for the UK and £4 for overseas. Again please wait for an invoice before paying.
