THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE “Are You Experienced” original UK Track lp!

1967/UK/Track 612 001….here’s a rare original UK Track pressing of  The Experiences’ first lp. The thin fragile laminated cover is glossy but suffers from two heavy creases as can be seen in the pictures, one crease is at the top left side and the other is a large lower left corner crease, there is also a lighter corner crease lower right corner which can be seen more on the back cover, the corners have been lightly dinged and show light wear, top and bottom seams show a couple of spots of light wear, perfect spine, light short creases around the outer edges, slight shelf wear on non laminated back cover, overall solid and clean with no splits, writing or other issues. The vinyl is in strong VG++ condition with light inaudible scuffs/hairlines from the inner sleeve. The record plays clean with nice Mono fidelity, there is very little noise during play throughout, no ticks, groove wear, skips, or other damage. The labels are clean with a few light spindle marks each. A nice original pressing of this legendary masterpiece! Please check my auctions for other rock, blues and psych lp’s. Are You Experienced is the debut album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Released in 1967, it was the first LP for Track Records. The album highlighted Jimi Hendrix's R&B-based, psychedelic, distortion- and feedback-laden electric guitar playing, and launched him as a major new international star. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it #15 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The album was an instant success and was the best-selling album in the United States in 1968.

MINT: as stated with no defects

M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.

AIR POSTAGE TO USA IS $10 ...OR $8 SURFACE IF THE PACKAGE WEIGHS LESS THAN 500 GRAMS(one regular weight pressing).........USA AIR POSTAGE FROM 500 GRAMS TO 1 KILO IS $15 AND SURFACE MAIL IS $12(usually 1-3 lp’s depending on individual weight), I can also send heavier packages to the USA by expedited surface mail, this option includes a tracking number and free insurance up to $100 for $15 to $20 depending on weight, insurance over $100 is $1.00 for each additional hundred dollars.

INTERNATIONAL AIR POSTAGE(depending on destination) UNDER 500 grams is $17 to $20(one regular weight lp), OVER 500 grams is $30 to $36(usually up to 3 lp’s depending on individual weight), SURFACE MAIL IS AVAILABLE OVERSEAS for  $12(500 grams) $15 (500 - 1000 g),OVERSEAS AIR POSTAGE BETWEEN 1000g AND 2000g (usually between 3 and 6 lp’s depending on individual weight) is $49 to $55.

IN CANADA..POSTAGE IS $7 IN Ontario and Quebec, $10 elsewhere in Canada.
