1997 ~ MCA/Experience Hendrix ~ MCA 11601 ~ Gatefold with Booklet Original First Issue of 5000 numbered copies ~ #1626
VINYL : NM : Extremely black and glossy. Appears unplayed. Pressed on thick, heavy vinyl.
COVER : NM : Both spines and all seams intact. Smooth-textured gatefold with lyrics inside. Slight shelf wear.
BOOKLET : NM : 8 pages with color photos. Glossy. 11" x 11".
LABELS : Extra sharp. Customized. Two different designs.
Records have been carefully sight-graded but NOT play-graded.

A SIMPLE VISUAL VINYL GRADING SYSTEM :
Mint: Sealed/Unplayed/Unopened/The Holy Grail/Never used on an opened item.
Mint minus (M-): New and Possibly Unplayed ; a rarely used grade at Bear's Wax.
Near Mint (NM): Like-new with very little or no visible wear. Very scarce & very collectible.
Near Mint minus (NM-): Almost like-new with slight signs of play (paper marks) that are strictly cosmetic. Very nice.
Excellent (EX+, EX, EX-) : Minor wear in varying degrees. Very clean, no serious flaws. Appears seldom spun. Nice.
Very Good plus (VG+): Above average LP with a few moderate surface marks/paper scuffs etc. Not great but not bad.
Very Good (VG) : An average used LP with several surface marks/perhaps a few light scratches. OK. Starter copy.
Very Good minus (VG-) : LP reveals lots of wear when viewed but is not truly defective (cracked,warped.) Rough.
Good, Fair, Poor : Albums that have been extremely well spun and/or abused. Very rarely listed by Bear's Wax.
