JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Axis Bold As Love MONO 1st UK PRESS + Insert MEGA RARE
This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks
Details:- From my own personal collection - Mega Rare Jimi Hendrix LP - Axis Bold As Love 1967 MONO 1st UK press complete with insert. Record housed in the original EJ Day laminated gatefold sleeve with flip-back centre spread. Released in 1967 on the original Track (MONO) label cat no. 612003. Very first press matrix A1/B1. Mega rare 60's UK vinyl.
Vinyl Condition:- VG+ visually but this mega rare record sounds close to EX. The intro on both sides has a little light surface noise but this quickly fades away and then there is the odd place where there is very minor soft background surface in the quieter parts and between tracks. There is also a very minor light warp on the very edge but again this is non-audible and has no affect on play at all. This record has been fully test played before this auction
Sleeve Condition:- EX Very light wear to corners. Fine feathered creases in the laminate around the edges and some d-creases around the sleeve opening. All fairly light and nice condition sleeve overall with nice crisp spine. On the back there is very light partial wear around the rim but this is only visible when viewed at an angle under bright light.
Insert Condition:- VG. A little creased but no splits, no rips and no unwanted writing etc. There is also some foxing around the centre fold.
Label Condition:- VG a few speckles

MINT: I only used this grade for new or unplayed records. I use the grade NEAR MINT
If a record has been played, even if the condition of the record and sleeve is perfect.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
