On offer today is a Original UK edition (JH1) of The Jimi Hendrix Experience / Band of Gypsies 'WOW HENDRIX' LP!
This is famous and very rare bootleg that was produced in 1970 and features performances from the Woodstock festival in 1969 and Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, also a studio outtake too! Who organised the pressing of these records still remains a mystery but it must have been somebody close to the Jimi Hendrix camp seeing as this was released way before the Woodstock soundtrack 3lp and the Monterey Pop Festival LP? 
As with any live boot recording, the sound quality isn't an audiophiles wet dream, and it is in Mono! But to be fair, it sounds adequate, obviously there is some light surface noise on these records as the quality of the vinyl and mastering techniques employed on it were not cutting edge, but putting all of that aside, it's a piece of history! Also with this LP I have included in the sale a limited edition Hendrix photo and plectrum set!
Record Condition : (Both sides play through with no issues, light background noise but that's due to the nature of the pressing) thoroughly enjoyable though!
Sleeve Condition : Plain card sleeve with "Wow-Hendrix" on the front, sticker on the rear has "JH1" written on it and somebody at some point in the past has written a makeshift track listing on the back, though they missed a few tracks out!

Grading system.

• MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
• EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
• VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
• GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
• FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
• POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
• BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
