Description
This auction is for my Electric Ladyland double lp by Jimi Hendrix. I have owned this LP for most of my life. It has been played maybe 6 times since new and has not been played at all for at least 25 years.
The vinyl is in time warp condition.
I do not own a record player but from the visible condition of the discs, I would expect it to play very well indeed.
I wasn't that much into Hendrix at the time so this is not a record that I would have played to death.
The Outer sleeve spent most of it's life in a plastic sleeve so is in reasonable condition. No rips or tears but not quite perfect. Considering it has been around since 1968, it is in amazing condition but could not be described as perfect. I have censored the sleeve with post-it notes because I have noticed that ebay have got upset with people displaying the full sleeve in their adverts. To be honest, way back then, the sleeve is probably the reason that I blew all my pocket money on this 40 odd years ago.
The inner sleeves are intact. No rips or tears. They have yellowed a little over the years.

I am no expert on explaining or selling vinyl but I have decided to sell the rest of my record collection so check my items over the next few days to see what turns up.
Emails will be answered, otherwise call me (Dave) on 07971776036 with any questions.
Bidders with less than 10 or poor feedback record, please email before bidding.
Bid with confidence. Check my feedback.
Happy Bidding.
FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS SUGGEST THAT THIS IS A GENUINE 1968 PRESSING. NOT AS RARE AS THE INITIAL "BLUE TEXT" FIRST PRESSING BUT RARER THAN HENS' TEETH NONE THE LESS!!!!! THERE IS ONLY THE SLIGHTEST EVIDENCE OF SPINDLE MARKS ON THE LABELS. THE VINYL HAS HAD ONLY VERY MINIMAL WEAR. YOU MIGHT FIND COPIES WITH LESS WEAR (EVENTUALLY) BUT YOU WILL BE A LONG TIME LOOKING. BETTER THAN MONEY IN THE BANK. VALUABLE NOW. EVEN MORE SO IN THE FUTURE.
QUESTIONS?????? DAVE B on 07971776036.
